However, with spread of + screw, demand for convex screw which is a kind of ? screw decreased, so HIOS shift the central axis of business to the electric driver at the time of 1980’. Now the sale of screw is reduced to the 300,000,000 yen. But, Katsuyuki Totsu intends to [attack the market of + small screw by setting with the second foundation from now on]. Market scale relating electric driver for industrial use is over than 7 billion yen, but the whole market of small screw is remarkably big as 150,000,000,000 yen and there are many opportunities. There was a defect to the existing + screw: if you added too much power when tightening, the driver was flipped from a screw, and screw thread was broken, so precise tightening was difficult. Paying attention to this,Totsu has devoted himself to develop a new + screw and bit that would solve this problem for 8 years. Finally, by making the vertical hem of bit that was pointed straight, and according to that, by expanding the groove of cross hole of the screw that had slim end, the driver was put certainly to a screw, so flip happening was disappeared. The screw developed was named as [Totsupura screw], and the bit as [Totsupura bit]. It is told that [Makita, Sharp, Cannon, and Sony, etc. have already started to adopt Totsupura](the president Totsu.).
