Brand Prizeh in the Parts Grand Prix Prize of the
Machine Department in April, 2004.

It is a great honor for me to won such a great
prize and it is my pleasure that our product
gTotsu-Plus screwh was highly appreciated.
I devote myself more to the improvement of gJapan
Brandh from now on. Thank you very much for all
of you.

gMonodukuri Parts
Prizeh
This prize was founded for the purpose of manufacturing
products, which have the nature of high creative
technology, improvement of the capacity, low cost
and energy conservation and contribute to the develop
of industry and society of the Japanese Monodukuri
Area.
In this Monodukuri Prize, there are two kind of
prize, Products Prize and Parts Prize
in the Machine Department. The Parts Prizes are
judged from the aspect of creativeness, capacity,
economy, achievements, environment, safety etc.
within 80 products, and selected 1 Parts Grand Prix,
2 Japanese Brand Prize and 14 Parts Prize.
From total 17 prizes, we selected the gFilm
Solar Cellh as a most excellent Grand Prix Prize
to the TDK and Semiconductor Energy Laboratory.
We awarded gJapan Brand Prizeh as a next prize
to the Grand Prix Prize, to two parts, ALACO,
TORAY and TOYOTAfs gSpare tire coverh and HIOSfs
gTotsupura Screwh. And those parts next to the
Parts Prize, we awarded the Prize of Encouragement
to 12 parts with plenty of original idea from
the middle and small companies.

At
the Machine Department, top was gToolh and the next
rank was Elements for Precision Apparatus. Awarded
gJapan Brand Prizeh Totsu-Plus Screw was a simple
development, but if the effect is certified widely,
the influence of the effect are immeasurable. And
I realized, there are many room of improvement even
in the screw around us.
There were many products concerning tool, and they
recollected me gJapanh stand on the Manufacturing
technology and they made us convinced. Mixed with
development of materials and shape of tools, they
attained their excellent machinability. Over all
of the applied parts were not the simple idea but
had based on the theoretical resarch and the evaluation
had done quantitatively and lead to the Grand Prix
Prize with enough evaluation.
From the foundation of this prize, we feel, it will
stimulate our Machine Technology Progress.
